In keeping with tradition, Omori will also be attending this year’s Empack trade fair. The 2018 edition will take place on 10, 11 and 12 April in Jaarbeurs Utrecht, and will once again serve as a showcase for various new products in the field of packages, packaging and transport. Omori will also be demonstrating several promising concepts to clients and other interested parties.
Demonstration of new machines and products
The Omori stand will no doubt attract a lot of attention thanks to new machines like the fastest ever box motion flow-wrapper and the fastest ever stretch wrapper for products like mushrooms. However, we are even prouder of our brand new doypack machine, which is able to combine high production capacity with a variety of other functionalities.
Besides doypack machines, Omori has also introduced new stick packers and sachet equipment for producing and packaging pyramid teabags, X-ray machines and bulk packaging machines for bag-in-box systems. This packaging method has been specially developed for packaging fresh products in a modified atmosphere (also referred to as MAP).
How do our packaging machines work?
Omori supplies machines for filling and closing the aforementioned flat bags or stand-up bags (doypacks). Such machines are based on an intermittent, rotating carousel. This carousel is equipped with grippers, which are used to hang the bags. Due to the rotating carousel, bags are able to visit several stations where particular actions are carried out. This includes opening the bag, filling the bag and sealing the bag.
Depending on the application (fresh, atmospheric or vacuum) or product (liquid, solid or powder), products can pass through 8, 9 or 10 stations. The machines are also ideal for filling a combination of solid and liquid products, such as animal feeds, prepared meals, preserved olives, etc.
Benefits of doypack filling and closing machines
These doypack filling and closing machines offer a variety of benefits. Firstly, they are very flexible; it is thus possible to switch from one product to another within 5 minutes. In addition, due to advanced automation, manual actions are minimised when configuring the machine.
The extensive width options make it is easy to work with various bag sizes, while the high production capacity also catches the eye. Finally, they can also be integrated with specially developed spout machines, which fill the packaging via a spout and then place a stopper.
Omori will be at Jaarbeurs Utrecht on 10, 11 and 12 April, and can be found in Hall 1, Stand D119. The fair will be open on all three days (from Tuesday to Thursday) from 10:00 to 17:00 o’clock. The Omori team looks forward to meeting you. If you want free tickets, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
