The ‘Twinkle’ is the most advanced, high-speed, pyramid tea bag manufacturing machine on the market. It makes triangular (pyramid) as well as single flat chamber (rectangular) tea bag with thread and tag at a speed of 200 bags per minute. The tea bags can be packed in regular flowpack or 3Sided seal packs. It is also possible to manufacture naked teabags, with or without, thread and tag and deposit directly into pouch or carton.
With Twinkle TPB-200, you can manufacture a large volume of pyramid teabags at high speed and high weight accuracy, which is less labour intensive, thus lowering the production costs substantially.
The Twinkle is equipped with a range of sensors for identifying any errors. A tea bag with sticky tape is automatically ejected, for example. This minimises the downtime of the machine. As a result, you can keep the OEE up for over 91% of the total production time. The thread is also located in the top of the pyramid bag, and not on the side, as is the case for similar machines; this means that the bag keeps its attractive triangle shape.

The tea bag packing machine can produce up to 200 (pyramid shaped) tea bags per minute. These are often packaged in a flowpacker. Tsubakimoto and Omori have joined forces and developed a (robot) infeed system to take over the tea bags and place them in the infeed line, after which the tea bags are packed with a European Omori including rotating seal at a speed of 200 packs per minute.
Working with the advanced Tsubakimoto equipment, presents me with a pleasant and challenging day, every day.
